Sarah Stevenson

I graduated from Edinburgh's Napier University in 2007 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Vet Nursing and have worked at Bishopbriggs and our branch practice in Chryston ever since. I enjoy all aspects of the job but have a keen interest in medical nursing, nurse clinics and behaviour, particularly feline behaviour. I have completed the ISFM diploma in feline nursing which has increased my passion for all areas of feline nursing and given me lots of tips which I have implemented into my day to day nursing. My love of all things feline also allowed me to help design our Chryston branch during its renovation so we were able to achieve a Silver accreditation as a cat friendly practice!

As head nurse, my role is varied but includes the training of student veterinary nurses. I enjoy being a clinical coach and helping to develop the future of veterinary nursing!

At home I have 2 cats called Lily and Simba who live with my parents and I have adopted 2 rescue kittens, Luna and Nala who live with me. Outside of work, I can usually be found in the front row at a music concert.
